Paige

Paige Adyson Sorensen was born on December 13, 2010 at 5:35a.m. She is perfect. Well, that's what the doctor told me as he was feeling and jostling her in the hospital. She came out with deep silver eyes and a whole head of hair. It's lighter than both Melissa's and mine but it's still dark enough to see. It's growing like a weed and starting to curl in the back. She has eaten so much in these past almost two weeks that she has little rolls all over her body. Her chin disappeared 3 days ago but that doesn't stop her from asking for more food. She laughs a lot and tries with all of her might to hold her head up. Yesterday, as Melissa was feeding her she held her own bottle for about 10 seconds. She is so smart. You show her how to do something only once and she grasps it. You can't help but laugh when she cries, even when you're at your wits end. The only issues we've had with her are her jaundice, for which she had to lay under a billighted briefcase. She hated it and would try everything she could to not go back in it. It became obvious that she was avoiding it when the minute we'd go to place her back in it she'd either poop, pee, want food, or just cry her little cute heart out! The other issue is that she's afraid of the dark. She won't sleep if it's completely dark in the room. It's kind of ironic because both Melissa and I are afraid of the dark as well but I can't sleep unless it's completely dark in the room. She's our cute little girl and we love her so much!
