We're back

I haven't updated in quite a while.  Every day for quite some time I'd come to the good ol' blog, make it to this update page and type that first sentence I just wrote and then sit here.  I'd try and think of something informative that I could say.  You know, something amazing that I know all of you out there would want to hear/read.  But, I couldn't get my brain to even think of anything more than "I haven't updated for quite a while".  Tonight however, is much different.  It's almost as if my mind has spewed all of it's secret information onto my fingertips and now I have a lot to say.  The silence is now over.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's been months since I told all of you that Parker was the size of a foot long hot dog.  Those days are long over.  He's now almost as tall as his sister and barely fits into his car seat.  The days of cheap intestine cased meats are over for our little man.  He is now out and about and enjoying his life.  For those of you who don't know, he was born on June 30, 2012.  He was 8lbs and 21 inches.  He spent the first few weeks of his life in and out of the hospital but after that he hasn't been back.  He's the complete opposite of his sister.  We've found that whatever she hated at his age he likes and vice versa.  He's now 2 1/2 months old.  He holds his head up, smiles, and giggles.  He talks to himself a lot and is starting to suck on his hands.  He's our little genius
They ushered him away after he was born and hooked him up to all sorts of wires.

He loves to take a bath.  He just doesn't like to put lotion on after the bath is over.

He loves to smile.  You say his name he'll give you the biggest cheeser!

He has big blue eyes.

He's learning to sit up on his own.

Melissa has declared our little Sorensen family a band of Gypsies.  We can't make our minds up where we want to move, and she's pretty certain that we aren't ever going to officially settle down.  Almost a year and a half ago we decided that we were going to pack up and move our family to Arizona or Texas.  After some careful thinking, praying, and talking we decided that we should move to Orem, UT.  We knew we weren't going to be there for a long time but it was somewhere that we needed to go at that point in time.  A few months ago, we started to have the feeling that we needed to move.  We decided that we were going to move to Arizona since it had all of the opportunities that we were seeking.  A few weeks ago we went on vacation to visit Phoenix, the area we'd be moving too.  When we got home from our trip we knew that Arizona wasn't the location for our family to move.  We needed to move though, but where were going to go?  After some more thinking, praying, and talking we decided that Idaho Falls was where we needed to move.  Idaho falls, a location I never thought I 'd ever be locating.  We're moving there for a lot of different reasons.  One of the main ones is that Melissa and I both need to finish school.  We will both be able to do so if we move up there, something that wouldn't have been able to happen if we had moved anywhere else.
